Built to the Wartime standard plan KDL 3 (KreigsDampfLokomotiven type 3) - 935 were built.  42605 was constructed by BMAG in 1944 as works number 13045 and ran in the British and American occupied zones until 1948 - this loco has a rough life and was scrapped early in 1954
