Well those didn't last long - REE have now completely sold out of all of the série 1 production of their amazing Moyse 32 TDE
The SNCF commissioned the Moyse 32 TDE small diesel locomotives in order to phase out the small steam locomotives, draught animals and capstan systems that were used for light shunting duties in stations and workshops.
From their press release, REE look like they intend to start with the Moyse 32 TDE and then look at other similar machines.
REE have carefully designed these models for accuracy and smooth running. The cabs are left free from intrusion from the mechanism, the models have 3 point suspension so that all 4 wheels will remain in contact with the rails at all times. The DCC Sound models will have a "Stay alive" power-pack to ensure uninterrupted power to the decoder, even over insulfrog points. A quick look at the real thing:
