The average clearance height in England is 12'10" (3.911m)

and Width 9' ( 2.743m) although there are variations. The Channel Tunnel and HS1 are built to UIC GC measures allowing European stock to reach London.

Average UK Loading gauge in TT would be roughly 22.85mm wide x  35.60mm high
