Completely new model - largely constructed from metal.

The Prussian G8.1 design was a hugely successful heavy freight locomotive with 5,155 built between 1913 and 1921.  Between 1934 and 1941 The DRG converted 691 of these locos the the Br56.20 - by adding a leading pony truck the top speed was increased.
