This is a new venture for REE - They have been hinting at it for a long time - The Billard railcars have made cameo appearances in many of REEs publicity shots for months now and they have been exploring the level of interest at French exhibitions.  It has been stated that the models will come with both HOm and HOe wheel sets and this would open the model to a greater number of collectors.

The CFV (Chemin de fer du Vivarais ) - often called Le Mastrou or Train de l'Ardèche - is a tourist railway in the Ardèche region of the South of France. The metre gauge line is 33 kilometres (21 mi) long. Run as a heritage line since 1989.

Technical characteristics 
Model faithfully reproduced - The original railcar, preserved on the CFV has been thoroughly measured.
LED Directional and Interior lighting.
Compact motor and gearbox to minimise intrusion into the cabin.
Convertible between HOm (12mm gauge) and HOe (9mm Gauge)
